Alyson Renae Michalka was born March 25, 1989, in Torrance, California. She was first introduced to acting in 1994, at the age of 5, when she appeared in theater productions put on by churches around Seattle and California. As a young girl, Alyson appeared in musicals, such as Jailhouse Rock and A Time to Remember.
